Indisposable Concept gallery featuring Thibault C.
Hello,
I’m Thibault, and today I’d like to share a journey that holds a special place in my heart.
Currently, I’m living in Tokyo for a few months, and in October 2024, I set out on a bold adventure: cycling from Tokyo to Mount Fuji on my single-speed bike. With no gears to help me tackle the climb, I knew this wouldn’t be an ordinary ride.
I planned the trip over three days, knowing it would be impossible to conquer the ascent in a single day on my setup. In total, I covered 318 kilometers, climbed 3,282 meters, and spent 17 hours on my saddle. It was tough, but the rhythm of the ride and the ever-changing scenery kept me going.
Reaching Mount Fuji was a euphoric moment ; one I’ll never forget. The sense of accomplishment, paired with the stunning views, brought me pure, unfiltered joy. It was, without a doubt, my most unforgettable experience in Japan.
