Letters from the Beginning
A collection of contributor letters, 2012–2017

In the early years of Indisposable Concept, cameras would arrive in the post from all corners of the world — each one carrying a story, often accompanied by a handwritten letter.

We’d process the film locally and share the images online. For many contributors, it was the first time seeing their photos — a moment of anticipation, surprise and connection.

As the project evolved in 2018 to include all film cameras, the physical packages gradually gave way to digital submissions. The letters stopped coming, but their presence remains a defining part of the project’s story.

Today, each roll is submitted digitally and curated into its own gallery, shared across the Indisposable Concept community. With over 4,900 rolls contributed to date, the project continues to connect and celebrate creative lives around the world.
