First of all, I just wanted to say how awesome this project is, and I’m so happy to contribute to it. Now, the film. The back story for this roll, is that it’s been taken in Colorado, California, and various areas on the Gold Coast of Australia, and Byron Bay. My boyfriend and I met in London and lived there together for almost a year. After that, we moved to the US together, to my hometown in Colorado. Then I followed him to his hometown in Australia, Gold Coast. It didn’t work out, but as a photographer, taking photos is a way to learn from an experience and process it in the same way as we do when we re-read a book and learn something new even though we’ve seen those lines before.
