Q & A with Erin.
1.) How did you find the experience of using the disposable camera? Enjoyable or painful?
Really enjoyable – it can be frustrating when you’ve clicked before turning on the flash and realise that you’ve ruined the shot, but that’s part of the joy of disposable cameras.

2.) How did it make you feel not being able to see the photos as they were taken and not being able to edit or know what the photos turned out like?
I shoot a lot of film so it’s not a problem at all.

3.) From your roll of film what was your fave image and why?
I really loved the picture of my friend in front of the “Lost/Found” artwork.

4.) Would you be interested in shooting another roll?
Absolutely. I’m currently in the process of a “Disposable Diary” series on my blog and bought a bulk lot of disposable cameras. I still have around 10 left.

5.) Is there anything else we could include or introduce to make the experience more interesting?
No, I really love the experience of shooting.

6.) Did you enjoy the aspect of shooting a selfie?
I’m not the best at them but it was fine 🙂

7.) What did you think of the outcomes when you saw the final photos?
I thought some of the colours were really beautiful. There were some surprises I had completely forgotten about which is always nice.

8.) Would you approach the concept differently if you had another go?
I would probably make sure to use the flash when needed.

9.) Would you enter into the concept if it was set up in a competition format with prizes to be won?
It would depend – I am not sure it would motivate me to participate any more than I am already willing to as I already enjoy the project.

10.) Would you like to see your photos presented in a gallery exhibition environment?
That would be really cool but it’s not currently a goal of mine.

11.) Is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Thank you for creating this project – I love seeing people pick up disposable cameras again & you guys make it so easy for people.
