Q+A
1.) How did you find the experience of using the disposable camera? Enjoyable or painful?
I love it so much that it is starting to become a habit. Everywhere I go I want to bring a disposable camera with me.
2.) How did it make you feel not being able to see the photos as they were taken and not being able to edit or know what the photos turned out like?
Doesn’t bother me at all!
3.) From your roll of film what was your fave image and why?
It is probably the image around sunset of my desk and window. I love the way light comes into my room during this time of day.
4.) Would you be interested in shooting another roll?
Already started on roll 3!
5.) Is there anything else we could include or introduce to make the experience more interesting?
Hmmmm maybe a task for each frame or roll? Scavenger hunt? But, honestly, I enjoy it as it is and try to make my own adventure or goals each time.
6.) Did you enjoy the aspect of shooting a selfie?
I almost forgot and did the first thing that came to mind.
7.) What did you think of the outcomes when you saw the final photos?
I was fortunate enough to come across a 200ISO disposable camera and I am really excited about the results.
8.) Would you approach the concept differently if you had another go?
I like the way I handled shooting this time around. I just brought the camera with me wherever I went for about a week and half to two weeks (I think?). If something caught my attention than I snapped. If nothing did, then I had frames saved for another time. This method worked out much better than attempting to come up with things that I want to go photograph.
9.) Would you enter into the concept if it was set up in a competition format with prizes to be won?
Sure, why not? Sounds like a whole new adventure.
10.) Would you like to see your photos presented in a gallery exhibition environment.
