Age: N/A
Where: San Salvador Island in the Bahamas
When: March, 2015
These two rolls are from a trip I went on a couple weeks ago. With my school (McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada) I went on a field course to San Salvador Island in the Bahamas. We went to study carbonate sedimentary environments, and spent the week looking at a fossilized coral reef, underground caves, mangroves, and saline ponds. We also were able to go snorkelling and look at various coral reefs around the island. It was probably one of the coolest trips that I’ve ever been on, and I really enjoyed exploring the island and documenting is to share with you! (it also made me realise that I really enjoy field work and research!)
