- The view from the window of my living room. The place where I live. I know ! No beach, no sea, but a beautiful sunset everyday.

- My nephew. A nice guy ! He’s 6 years old. Later, I hope he reads Balzac, Hugo, Baudelaire and Voltaire. I’m her favorite uncle, especially when I offered him Legos.

- Every Thursday I join Alex at his home. I drink 2 whiskys, we watch dvd (american series, horror movies, concerts…). He’s a musician, like me. In June, we go to Hellfest. One of the most important metal music festival in Europe. I like his picture discs on his wall.

- When spring comes, it’s the first tree to bloom. A beautiful spot in the middle of the dark green trees.

- Sandrine is my best friend. I know her for many years. When we were young, we lived many evenings. Alcohol, music, rave-up all night long. At 4 am, we ate sandwiches at the edge of the Rhône river not to be drunk any more. Today she’s married, has a child (soon 2), we are too old for fun. Now, we play backgammon.

- I like photography. A few years ago, I went to New York with a poor quality camera. I was disappointed by my pics. I bought a DSLR, I learnt to use it, I discovered Cartier-Bresson, Raymond Depardon, Ansel Adams… Now, photography is my passion.

- Guillotière. The favorite place for fans of skateboarding and bmx.

- Bellecour. The most important place of Lyon. The meeting place for everyone. We join in the “head” or the “tail” of the statue. It’s a habit. Farther, it’s Fourvière, the hill which overhangs the city.

- The Saône is the second river of Lyon. I like this traditional picture of the city. It’s so quiet.

- Since a few years, this sculpture has a walk in the city. This year, the mayor decided to place it at the edge of the Rhône river.

- This isn’t only a boat. The “Marquise” is a very known bar-pub in Lyon. For years, I lived memorable evenings with Sandrine there.

- I came to live in Lyon 22 years ago. Before, I lived in Africa. The first day of my arrival, with my parents we visited the city. I remember I took a drink in the bar of this place. It was 22 years ago, my new life began here. Many things passed since…

- My guitars. Music is necessary for me. When I was young, I played in different bands. Pop, rock, metal… We were paid with beers. The funniest moments of my life.

- The Friday Train. My girlfriend lives in another region : Auvergne, in Clermont-Ferrand. It’s in 200km from Lyon. I take the train of Friday to join her during the weekend.

- My girlfriend. She’s also a photographer. I met her last summer in Lyon. She wanted to photograph the most attractive districts of the city. A common friend asked me to be a tourist guide for her. To thank me, she invited me to come to Clermont to photograph volcanoes. I accepted… Since we live a simple and beautiful story…

- It was early morning. We left in the nature next to Clermont. We climbed a volcano. The sun appeared slowly, volcanoes was hidden by the fog. I appreciated this moment…

- Sunrise, fog, strange colors, beautiful moments. We continued to climb. The volcano waited for us. The reward was in the summit.

- The crater of Puy-de-Pariou. The last time when there was an eruption here, it was 8000 years ago.

- Auvergne is a magnificent region. It has around its cities 80 volcanoes. In June, they will be maybe in the UNESCO world heritage. My girlfriend and her collective of photographers militate for that. Nobody knows when they will wake up. Several years can pass without eruption… or not! I feel good here, to my girlfriend. I like the place where she lives, I’m with her, I’m happy…
