Q+A with Christian H
1.) How did you find the experience of using the disposable camera? Enjoyable or painful?
After shooting film on a regular basis i was able to easily take on the project. It was a very joyful and laid back experience.
2.) How did it make you feel not being able to see the photos as they were taken and not being able to edit or know what the photos turned out like?
I couldn’t imagine what the photos would look like because the camera was very old after sitting in storage for several years.
3.) From your roll of film what was your fave image and why?
I loved the image of the ocean in pacific beach during sunset.
4.) Would you be interested in shooting another roll?
I am definitetly interested in shooting another roll with possibly a higher ISO.
5.) Is there anything else we could include or introduce to make the experience more interesting?
Keep up the good work and creative ideas!
6.) Did you enjoy the aspect of shooting a selfie?
Yeah its just another aspect of photography just like landscapes and still life’s.
7.) What did you think of the outcomes when you saw the final photos?
I wish i had not had any mess ups but i always expect the unexpected with film.
8.) Would you approach the concept differently if you had another go?
yeah i have alot of ideas for the next time around.
9.) Would you enter into the concept if it was set up in a competition format with prizes to be won?
Yeah sure why not might encourage myself and others to shoot more decisevely if it was a competition but i enjoy having no ropes also.
10.) Would you like to see your photos presented in a gallery exhibition environment.
I would love to, hopefully i had some good shots!
