1.) How did you find the experience of using the disposable camera? Enjoyable or painful?
I really enjoyed it! I haven’t used a disposable camera since I was a kid. It was nice to go back to something so basic. I just bought a new DSLR and the difference is obviously huge, but there’s something great about a little camera like these.
2.) How did it make you feel not being able to see the photos as they were taken and not being able to edit or know what the photos turned out like?
In this day and age it was very tricky. Not being able to make sure you’ve set the shot up properly. It made me think about the shot even more than normal. No time for checking. It keeps you on your toes.
3.) From your roll of film what was your fave image and why?
I think the last one, the lifeguard tower. I was driving to work and saw the sun beaming behind it, a change from all this weather we’ve had lately. I think it just looked right.
4.) Would you be interested in shooting another roll?
Absolutely! My brother and I are going to America in 5 weeks, he would love one too! How about it?
5.) Is there anything else we could include or introduce to make the experience more interesting?
Perhaps the option to get a copy of the pics for ourselves.
6.) Did you enjoy the aspect of shooting a selfie?
I’m not HUGE on selfies, I must admit I take the odd one but usually after deleting 10 ‘bad’ ones! So this was the hardest shot to take. It’s important though, so often the photographer is never seen, only their final products.
7.) What did you think of the outcomes when you saw the final photos?
I was really happy! I surprised myself a little. It makes me want to take more and more photos with my new camera, perfect timing!
8.) Would you approach the concept differently if you had another go?
I don’t think so.
9.) Would you enter into the concept if it was set up in a competition format with prizes to be won?
10.) Would you like to see your photos presented in a gallery exhibition environment.
Yes that’s a great idea.
11.) Is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Thanks for the chance to join in!
