Q+A with Marinela
1.) How did you find the experience of using the disposable camera? Enjoyable or painful?
I really enjoyed using the disposable camera! I love the way disposable photos turn out.
2.) How did it make you feel not being able to see the photos as they were taken and not being able to edit or know what the photos turned out like?
I really didn’t mind, I found it exciting and was keen to see how they would turn out. I’ve used them before though. Took a few disposables overseas with me a couple of years ago.
3.) From your roll of film what was your fave image and why?
I think my favourite photo is the one of my housemates and my cat Luna. I just think it turned out really well and it’s pretty hilarious.
4.) Would you be interested in shooting another roll?
I would, but I would do it at a time that I knew I would be doing something interesting haha as I started to run out of things to take photos of.
5.) Is there anything else we could include or introduce to make the experience more interesting?
Hmm maybe more photo requirements? Like a list of things to take photos of? I dunno, wither way it was fun. 🙂
6.) Did you enjoy the aspect of shooting a selfie?
I didn’t mind, but I didn’t like the selfie I took. haha!
7.) What did you think of the outcomes when you saw the final photos?
I was happy, majority of my photos turned out pretty good.
8.) Would you approach the concept differently if you had another go?
No. Wouldn’t change a thing.
9.) Would you enter into the concept if it was set up in a competition format with prizes to be won?
Yeah sure, why not? But I don’t feel the need to have to get anything in return. Was just happy to help out.
10.) Would you like to see your photos presented in a gallery exhibition environment?
Yeah sure, If you feel they are interesting enough.
11.) Is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I just want to let you know that I really like your project. I’ve told a few of my friends who have also joined in which is great. Keep up the good work! 🙂
