Q+A with Lucy

1.) How did you find the experience of using the disposable camera? Enjoyable or painful?
Really enjoyable, the flash didn’t work so it forced me to go outside. I run events so I was expecting to take a lot of night time shots..  but it made for much nicer photos that reflect my summer.

2.) How did it make you feel not being able to see the photos as they were taken and not being able to edit or know what the photos turned out like?
It made me really excited to see what i had captured and I loved the whole experience of not knowing and then the anticipation of waiting for them to get developed!

3.) From your roll of film what was your fave image and why?

4.) Would you be interested in shooting another roll?
I would absolultey love to!

5.) Is there anything else we could include or introduce to make the experience more interesting?
I liked having no guidelines except for 1 photo must be a selfie. but I would love to do a photo a day type project where i was given some broad outlines.

6.) Did you enjoy the aspect of shooting a selfie?
Not totally haha. i look really unimpressed in mine.

7.) What did you think of the outcomes when you saw the final photos?
I wish i could take another roll! they look amazing.

8.) Would you approach the concept differently if you had another go?
I’d definitely take more photos in darker situations as my flash didn’t work. i would probably shoot the whole thing at night time, so i had a daytime and a nighttime gallery.

9.) Would you enter into the concept if it was set up in a competition format with prizes to be won?
Sure, but in the end i really just enjoyed contributing to the project as its such a great thing.

10.) Would you like to see your photos presented in a gallery exhibition environment.
I’d love to see EVERYONE’S photos up in a gallery! it would be amazing to see what everyone else has captured.

11.) Is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Stu you’re a very clever man with a simple idea that is just beautiful and brilliant. i love checking back every few days to check out the new galleries.
