Q+A with Dan
1.) How did you find the experience of using the disposable camera? Enjoyable or painful?
Great….. It came with me everywhere!
2.) How did it make you feel not being able to see the photos as they were taken and not being able to edit or know what the photos turned out like?
Sort of cool – a bit of mystery as to how they would turn out, in particular when in direct sunlight etc….also remembering what I had shot,
that was a test!
3.) From your roll of film what was your fave image and why?
Hmmm. Bakery shot, park scenery, skyline…..our apartment block. That’s four, can’t think of a fifth.
4.) Would you be interested in shooting another roll?
Sure.. Be fun to do one each season and then compare at the end of the year!
5.) Is there anything else we could include or introduce to make the experience more interesting?
An item with the camera that gets shot at least once, or in every photo?
6.) Did you enjoy the aspect of shooting a selfie?
7.) What did you think of the outcomes when you saw the final photos?
Epic….. Love the look of the instant photos and the way you’ve compiled them.
8.) Would you approach the concept differently if you had another go?
Yeah, probably focus more on people, didn’t really shoot a lot of people and there are a fair few I see every week….. So flat that was a bit I left out.
9.) Would you enter into the concept if it was set up in a competition format with prizes to be won?
Not sure that’s needed, but always happy to win stuff.
10.) Would you like to see your photos presented in a gallery exhibition environment?
Would be sort of cool.
11.) Is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Great concept…… Some more of a story with each pic could be good, so once developed welcome people back to share what each shot is?
