Inca G – Roll 1

Indisposable Concept gallery featuring Inca G. Shot with a disposable camera.

Age: N/A
Where: Portland, Oregon. USA
When: July, 2014

This was an awesome experience, I can’t wait to share it with others! The fact that I couldn’t see the pictures and that there was only 24 times allowed made it even better. Taking photos on an iPhone or Digital cameras is different because if there is one minor detail you don’t like you can try and retake it. With a disposable camera it allows you to capture the world, just the way you are experiencing it… flawed, perhaps but awesome! It is also so much fun, to look at the pictures afterwards! Even though, I loved how all the pictures turn out (besides, a couple dark ones… I just need to learn how to better utilize flash), my favorite picture of all would have to be the one of my cousin, sister, and I, all in our bathing suits from behind. I love the symmetry of it all. I can’t wait to shoot another roll and go through experience all over again, and over again, and over again!!

Next time, I would go through with it just as I did this time, but perhaps learning how to use the camera better would help. However, although selfies are not my personal fave, I still think it makes the Indisposable Concept more “complete” by allowing you to really see that person’s perspective better. I think, by making it a competition it would change the ultimate goal of this project therefore changing the pictures that would be entered. It wouldn’t necessarily be bad, but different for sure. That would be cool to see my photos exhibited in a gallery environment definitely. Also a side note…. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU”RE DOING! Thanks and Enjoy,
