Hey guys! My name is Gabriela de la Rosa and you guys wont believe how stoked I was when my friend told me about this. Ironically I met my friend in our B&W film photography class and she new I’d be interested. I have always preferred film over digital but it has been a while since I have used a disposable camera. I have always loved the feeling of not knowing what you will end up with once you’ve developed film which makes for an exciting journey between taking the pictures until the development of the film. I typically use my Minolta when I do film photography which still is different from the disposable cameras since I get to adjust aperture and shutter speed. With that in mind, I can honestly say..

A Disposable Camera is the RAW-est form of film photography (if, that makes sense.) I especially love seeing other peoples pictures to see what their life is like and how they have captured it. I look forward to submitting a lot of rolls of film in the near future. But for now, I only have two. These first 24 shots I took while in Santa Cruz, Ca for 420 weekend. I know that was a while ago but I barely came home for the summer and just got them developed. I was a little disappointed in the night ones that I took but it just gives me more of a reason to use more disposable cameras and try to capture other night adventures I might have.
