Q+A with Kristen K
1.) How did you find the experience of using the disposable camera? Enjoyable or painful?
I found the experience very enjoyable! They seemed more valuable since there was a limited number I could take.
2.) How did it make you feel not being able to see the photos as they were taken and not being able to edit or know what the photos turned out like?
It was a bit weird that I couldn’t see the photos, especially of something far away or a selfie, but I didn’t spend all night worrying about it.
3.) From your roll of film what was your fave image and why?
My favourite image would be the one with my red notebook, as it says a lot about me in a way that I can probably only understand haha.
4.) Would you be interested in shooting another roll?
I’d love to shoot another roll!
5.) Is there anything else we could include or introduce to make the experience more interesting?
I think connecting the experience in real life more, not just through social media would be great.
6.) Did you enjoy the aspect of shooting a selfie?
Shooting selfies were fun, as you really only had one go…unless you wanted to waste your roll on yourself…
7.) What did you think of the outcomes when you saw the final photos?
I was a little disappointed when I realised some didn’t turn out, but happy with the rest.
8.) Would you approach the concept differently if you had another go?
I guess I would approach it differently, if only in buying a different camera and focussing on my own city since I wouldn’t be on holiday.
9.) Would you enter into the concept if it was set up in a competition format with prizes to be won?
Of course I would enter a comp! 🙂
10.) Would you like to see your photos presented in a gallery exhibition environment.
I would love to see my photos presented.
